List Of Public Holidays Of Nepal In 2082

The Government of Nepal has published the list of the public holidays for the  2082 BS. The Government of Nepal has declared 28 public holidays for the year 2082 BS, with Saturdays excluded. Kathmandu  valley will have four extra public holidays to observe Gai Jatra, Indra Jatra, Bhoto Jatra, and Ghode Jatra.

  1. Dashain: Ashoj 13, Monday to Ashoj 18, Saturday
  2. Tihar: Kartik 3, Monday to Kartik 7, Friday

2. National Festival Public Holidays

  1. New Year: Baishakh 01, Monday
  2. Ram Navami: Basisakh 05, Wednesday
  3. Ubauli Parva: Baisakh 29, Monday(For Kirant Community)
  4. Rakshya Bandhan: Shrawan 24, Saturday
  5. Krishna Janmashtami: Shrawan 31, Saturday
  6. Ghatasthapana: Ashoj 6, Monday
