Upcoming IPO In Nepal: Doodhpokhari Chepe Hydropower Signs IPO Agreement With Muktinath Capital
An agreement has been reached between Muktinath Capital Limited and Doodhpokhari Chepe Hydropower Limited for the issuance of the Doodhpokhari Chepe Hydropower’s initial public offering (IPO). This agreement designates Muktinath Capital as the IPO’s issue manager. Muktinath Capital CEO Kabindra Dhoj Joshi and chairperson Sabin Pradhanang represented the hydroelectric company in the signing.
Doodhpokhari Chepe Hydropower Public Limited (DPCHPL) is a 11 MW Run of River (RoR) type of project that is located at Ajirkot Rural Municipality and Doodhpokhari Rural Municipality of Gorkha and Lamjung district, Gandaki province 4.Doodhpokhari Chepe Hydropower Public Ltd. is being promoted in Chepe khola, a tributary of Marsyandi river.
Doodhpokhari Chepe Hydropower Location Site:
The project is located within latitudes 28°15’02” N to 28°16’52” N and longitudes 84°38’30” E to 84°40’25” E, approximately 182 kilometers (aerial) northwest of Kathmandu. The project generates electricity using the elevation difference between the powerhouse and the intended intake at Chepe Khola, as well as a design discharge of 1.26 m3/s from Chepe Khola.
The proposed headworks of Doodhpokhari Chepe Hydropower Limited is located at Ajirkot Rural Municipality ,ward no 2, kalo patal phedi and powerhouse site is also located at Ajirkot Rural Municipality, Taal bagar . The distance from powerhouse to kalo patal phedi is 5km.
